Last Breath

Last Breath - Rachel Caine Iam so invested still in this series, and have found that it only gets better from here. I will be starting Black Dawn very shortly although alot of my questions were still not answered in the last book as to what happened to alot of the vampires that have gone missing because more are going missing as the days come because there are alot of stores that are run by vampires being closed up. And humans all in a frantic panic because no money is being paid to the workers of said businesses. Can't wait to see where the rest of this series goes. Because i am so hooked.

Redeemed

Redeemed - Kristin Cast, P.C. Cast Really good, even with it ending I would've loved to be more engrossed in the world with Neferet out of the story, because I really loved Zoey. Perfect ending.

Uninvited

Uninvited - Sophie Jordan Never read anything like this, HTS(Homicidal Tendency Syndrome) who would've thought of creating such a disorder as this. I really liked the fact that in the beginning of the story they gave the main character abit of a before her life slowly turned up side down and became thought as a killer or could become one. I also liked the struggle of the bond that Sean and Davy were starting to have with one another from the middle to the end. Really good in my opinion where they sent the few selected that were felt to have potential to be trained killing machines and if they fail the special program they get sent to a detention camp that is pretty much like a prison. This was very well thought out as stories and plots go. I've only read one other book by Sophie Jordan from her firelight trilogy and liked that so I assumed I was going to fall in love with this. Too bad I gotta wait to next year for the sequel.

Flowers in the Attic

Flowers in the Attic - V.C. Andrews Good story I just couldn't get into this. V.c. andrews was/is a fantastic writer I just had trouble getting into the story and will not continue with it further.

Half-Blood: A Covenant Novel

Half-Blood: A Covenant Novel - Justine Eyre, Jennifer L. Armentrout This was really good, and not what I expected it to be upon reading it, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about diving into this after listening to the prequel on audio. But I wasn't disappointed I really was drawn to the character Alexandria. So if you like something with some kind of mythology then this is for you, so not like vampire academy in my opinion.

Rebellion (The Whispers of the Fallen)

Rebellion (The Whispers of the Fallen) - J.D. Netto I received this in exchange for an honest review all of the view points are my own. I was really blown away with the author's writing in this one and again there's nothing that I didn't like about reading this. I really enjoyed diving back into the world in this sequel and getting to read more about the characters and this diary of Lucifer and of the angels that are mentioned in both the first and its sequel Rebellion. Both are excellent reads and even though I've heard alot about both good and bad I didn't let either stop me from reading this.

The Whispers of the Fallen

The Whispers of the Fallen - J.D. Netto I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review, and these are my thoughts on this superbly written story. The author was nice enough to send both The whispers of the fallen and its sequel. This is something I'd never find myself reading and it was by far really interesting to read. Who would've ever imagined this of Lucifer having a diary and seeing all of the feelings and what not he felt and feel as though you were experiencing everything has you read page after page. The writing was a bit off but it entertained me quite abit and I loved the whole thriller factor it. J.D. did an excellent job creating both the plot and storyline and the characters extremely loveable. I don't think there was anything I hated about the story that I wouldn't say anything good about it. But if you want an interesting ride with a supernatural read this is definitely a book you will enjoy.

Burn for Burn

Burn for Burn - Jenny Han, Siobhan Vivian This was an interesting read to say the least and it had a lot of interesting things when it came to a plot and storyline with some really good word play. I really liked the way the both authors envisioned this place where the girls are from and how they wrote the conflict. It's still very highschoolish drama but it did give some comedy when it came to the situations the girls put themselves into and that I really liked. There wasn't much that I didn't like about the book except that I feel like there could've been more of something to draw my attention more into the story. I guess contemporary isn't the genre for me to read.

Of Monsters and Madness

Of Monsters and Madness - Jessica Verday This story blew me away and is by far one of my favorites of his work and honestly I loved this honest and enriching retelling of a new favorite that I had only discovered and fallen in love with last year. Everything from the plot right down to the characters was just incredibly good that words can't even describe how I feel about this book. It was amazing and something I'd definitely recommend.

MARY: The Summoning

MARY: The Summoning - Hillary Monahan I give this book 3.5 stars for originality of an urban legend I have heard a million different versions of and whether they be true or false this was a good take on it, but I couldn't get over how this was written and how mary was described as being . The characters I thought who experienced an encounter with Mary and the situations as they occurred were very undeveloped and I kept flipping pages waiting for things to turn around and get better. When as I read the story just got worse and I got incredibly annoyed with the characters and found myself not caring for them in the slightest bit. Yes the plot was incredibly well thought out, but the writing was very poorly written and very bland when it came to anything exciting happening. Will I pick up the sequel if one so happens to be written possibly. This book just did not excite me at all. Even though this was a good take on an urban legend.

Omens: A Cainsville Novel (Omens and Shadows)

Omens - Kelley Armstrong Couldn't get into this. I love her writing just this was abit slow for me and I wasn't really in the mood for this book.

Devilish

Devilish - Maureen Johnson This was supposed to be this cute contemporary paranormal story and it turned out to be nothing more then a bland read. Good story telling but it lacked a lot of potential with the world building and resolution of the characters. Just too much whining from the main character who's just constantly moany. Not something i'd ever pick up again a second time.

Amulet, Book 2: The Stonekeeper's Curse

Amulet, Book 2: The Stonekeeper's Curse - Kazu Kibuishi I really enjoyed this installment it had alot more action then the first and it really showed Emily grow as an individual.

Amulet, Vol. 1: The Stonekeeper

Amulet, Vol. 1: The Stonekeeper - Kazu Kibuishi I had heard so many good things about this series and this being my first graphic novel series to start was incredibly brilliant and fast paced that I wasn't expecting to fly through this and like it as much as I did while reading this and ended up loving this and feeling pumped to continue on with the series and also continue with my new love of graphic novels. This deserves more then a five star rating and i wish i could give it more if I could.

Through to You

Through to You - Lauren Barnholdt This wasn't the best contemporary but it wasn't the worst I've read as I don't particularly like this genre of fiction to read but will pick it up once and a while. It was easy to follow even though the characters with their bickering etc got annoying it was definitely worth finishing.

The Giver

The Giver - Lois Lowry Interesting take on a Utopian society in a world where things are very complex and the situations are not your run of the mill normal. This was far better then I expected it to be and something I would recommend if you are just starting to get into the dystopian genre and want to just dive into that world. Its not the best dystopian novel since it was published in 1993 but its an interesting start to diving into it again. Jona was kick ass in this book.
